Contraindications

Are you a suitable candidate for Cosmetic Tattooing?

Cosmetic Tattooing is not for:

• anyone with conditions that result in taking blood thinning medications such as Warfarin or Aspirin
• anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding
• anyone who is under 18 years of age
• those with glaucoma, trichotillomania disorder,HIV, AIDS, HPV/hepatitis or skin cancer, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, any bleeding disorders, currently undergoing chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled high blood pressure
• those prone to keloid scarring or problems with wound healing
• those with cardiovascular problems
• those who have haemophilia or a heart condition.
• those with a skin condition like eczema, psoriasis, moles on the brows, keratosis pilaris, chronic acne, rosacea and dermatitis.
• those using retinol, vitamin a and skin peeling acids (should be discontinued to use a month prior to the procedure).
• those using latisse (lash and brow growth serum), it is recommended to discontinue using these at least 3-6 months before the procedure.
• those currently on accutane or other retinoids ( must wait until 6 months after treatment ends)
• those who had botox in the past 4 weeks before the procedure
• those experiencing sunburn
• those with a pacemaker or heart problems
• those who had eye treatments in the last six (6) months
• those who had a previous irritation to permanent make-up treatments before

Contraindictaions for Brows (Beauty Services)

Services such as Brow Lamination, HD Brows, Henna Brows is not suitable for:

• anyone who has used Retinol, topical Retin-A, Retrieve or other perscription skin medications in the last four (4) weeks
• Those who had laser resurfacing, fraxle laser or skin needling, BHA/AHA/glycolic acid peel in the brow area in the last (4) weeks
• those who had allergic reaction or any form of tint in the past or any sign of eczema, infection, cuts or scabbing in the brow area
• those who had an eye inflammation, infection or had laser surgery in the last 3 months
• those who have watery eyes, conjuctivitis, sunburnt skin or recent scar tissiue or bruising, Stye’s and Rash

If you show up to your scheduled session and decide not to proceed because one or more of the above is present, you will forfeit your appointment and your booking deposit will be non-refundable.
